L.E.G. Up in Life: Learn, Embrace and Grow

I believe that life is about learning, embracing & growing.   Another way of saying that is…life is about making mistakes, accepting experiences and making better choices.

We Grow in 3 Ways:
1) Physically – just be fed and it’ll happen
2) Mentally – intentionally or not programming is happening all the time
3) Emotionally (which to me, and for this purpose, emotional includes spiritual – Eh, it’s my blog *smiling*) – ONLY happens with intent; the only growth that is optional

Just in case you missed that…EMOTIONAL GROWTH IS THE ONLY GROWTH THAT’S OPTIONAL! You choose to grow or, by default, end up an adult who’s still reacting to life’s circumstances (as a child does) – never having learned to effectively respond.

Mistakes are often our best teachers; we learn from mistakes – our own or those of others. It is only when we stop resisting, allow “what is,” that we come to a place of recognizing why it’s shown up in our lives; embracing it’s lesson as purposeful – not good, not bad…just IS.

Ahhhh, now you’ve heard that it’s the challenges/adversities that make us who we are; through them we really see what we’re made of. Well, either you are controlling the challenges/adversities or they are controlling you.

I believe challenges are opportunities to recalibrate because nothing stays still. The world is ever-evolving and things in your world are ever-changing.

I also believe that life is supposed to be enjoyed but the only way to enjoy life in a world riddled with challenges is to look forward to making mistakes and intent on learning from them, to intentionally cease from judging what IS and embrace the lesson in it, and to only compete with self – making your next decision better than your last. Emotional growth is easy when it’s intentional.

We’re Growin’ UP Y’all…Grown IS Sexy 😉

Lovingly,
Zara 😉

Zara, I love L.E.G up in life! for me though I meet many people that also have emotional “growth” that was not something they choose. Just like mental growth can be imprinted on you, so can emotional. Ask a women who has gone though abuse.

The other interesting thing is emotional, spirtual growth (agreed the same) come from how we think first. So mental development is often the key because the subconscious mind influences your spiritual development!

I do also believe “I CHOOSE” but it has to be a VERY conscious choice, everyday!

    Ann, thank you…for commenting & complimenting 🙂

Here’s a fact: every person has things happen (notice I said happen and not happen to – there’s a difference) in their life that they do not choose…it’s part of life.

The choosing is in how one responds to what happens – this is where scarring and/or refining happens for the individual.

The options available to the individual depends on the information he/she has.

To me, we can’t always control what happens, but being committed to having a L.E.G. UP on life, ensures that we’re always expanding our options; eventually even subconsciously choosing to be refined 🙂

    Thanks Again, Ann!
