The Serenity Challenge: How NOT to Take Anything Personally – Day 2

Soul Anchor
Part I, explained what serenity is and how you get it. Here are 3 philosophies that I’ve allowed to govern my existence and they always serve me, brilliantly:
1. Life Happens…Life Does Not Happen TO me
2. My Experiences are Purposeful and Intended to Prepare Me
3. The Key to My Growth is to Make My NEXT Decision…BETTER than my LAST
Every life is governed by philosophies…a set of ideas that you allow to govern your existence. If you’re finding yourself agitated or angst, then look at what you’ve accepted as “truth” for that thing, and then tweak your perspective.
It doesn’t matter the circumstance…a lover who is opting out, a child who goes against your wishes, a natural disaster or an unexpected death.
In order to NOT take anything personally, you’ve got to ground your mind and emotions to know that when things happen, all things, that they are not happening to you.
You’ve got to embrace every experience as a teacher of life, always, doing your part to be refined by each and every one, otherwise, by default you will be scarred by them.
You’ve got to know that all learning is gradual and the only way to learn is through experiences.
What matters, everytime, is that you evaluate where you are, decide what you want and determine to make decisions that will move you closer to your desires; remain forwardly focused in thoughts and actions.
We’re Growin’ Up Y’all…because Grown IS Sexy!
NEXT Decision…BETTER than your LAST!
Lovingly,
Zara
